The APC youth program aims to be a L.I.G.H.T. for the international youth community here in Bonn.  As a light, we strive to provide youth with a guiding example of how to think, love, and live out the example of Jesus in their current context.

We aim also to be a LIGHT that draws in new people because we are a warm and welcoming community that cares for one another.

We achieve these aims a number of ways. We have two weekly youth meetings, one for ages 11-14 and one for ages 14-18.  These groups provide a relaxed opportunity to share a meal together, hang out, play, sing, and hear from God’s word.

We offer special activities like mystery nights, D.I.G.G., a ski retreat, an annual service trip and other events that help kids enjoy each other and enjoy serving others.

Every other year we offer a Confirmation class that helps our youth to understand the basics of the Christian faith.

The youth program also has a youth praise band called “Springs of Life.”  They lead music on a regular basis for Sunday morning services. The band practices weekly and is open to all youth who have some musical ability.  This is one more great way to be involved with the church and the lives of other youth.
