Each year the older youth of the APC are supported in a service project to a foreign land.  As part of the great mission of the church, the youth are encouraged to give of themselves in serving the less fortunate.  As is often the case, in the giving comes much blessing.

This year we will join the Giraffe Project (www.giraffeproject.org) in serving a few schools in the slums of Nairobi.  Our group will paint, assist with dental and medical check-ups and assist with other projects.

UPDATE

Thank you for praying for safe travels, strength and patience and an open mind to enjoy the different culture and people we would met.  Our entire group enjoyed safety, hospitality and the fellowship of many new people.
