Music Associate Derick Cordoba

Derick Cordoba is the Music Associate at APC beginning in August
2008. He was born in Monrovia, Liberia and raised in New Jersey. He
moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for his last two years of high
school. Derick graduated from University of North Florida with a B.A.
in Jazz Performance with a guitar emphasis and Florida International
University with a Masters of Music in Jazz Performance in April of
2008. He was a member of and toured internationally with the Christian rock group Further Seems Forever for over 6 years in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan. During that time he had the opportunity to interact with youth from all over the world. Derick has been a volunteer at the APC working with the youth and various music groups for the last year. He is here with his wife Tanya who is a grade one teacher at the Bonn International School. |
