The APC Youth Program

The APC youth program aims to be a L.I.G.H.T. for the international youth community here in Bonn.  As a light, we strive to provide youth with a guiding example of how to think, love, and live out the example of Jesus in their current context.  We aim also to be a Light that draws in new people because we are a warm and welcoming community that truly cares for one another. 

We achieve these aims through a number of ways. We have two weekly youth meetings for 11-14 and 14-18 year old age groups that provide a relaxed opportunity to share a meal together, hang out, play, sing, and hear from the Bible.

We offer special activities like mystery nights, a yearly ski weekend, a yearly mission trip, and other events that help kids enjoy each other and enjoy serving others. Every two years we offer a Confirmation class that helps our youth to understand the basics of the Christian faith. 
The youth program also has a youth praise band that leads music on Sundays on a regular basis. The band practices weekly and is open to all youth who have some musical ability. It is a great way to be involved with the church and other youth.

One of our aims is developing leader-student relationships. Our hope is that not only will the youth pastor build friendships with the students, but volunteer leaders will be a significant help to students in all areas of life because of time invested in relationships with them.

Crossroads

Crossroads is the meeting for the 14-18 year old age group. Crossroads meetings are on every Mondays 7.00pm. Join the Crossroads Facebook group.

Cornerstone

Cornerstone is the meeting for the 11-14 year old age group. Cornerstone meetings are on every Tuesdays 6.30pm. Join the Cornerstone Facebook group.

Springs of Life

Springs of Life is the youth band that, once a month, plays for APC's contemporary worship service at 11.15am. This band plays songs from familiar worship leaders such as Hillsongs, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman and Benjamin Brown.
