Life & Home Groups

Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.

Psalm 11:105

The APC is a “church of small groups”. We believe we can grow stronger friendships and connect more deeply with God through belonging to a Home Group. No one was meant to go through life alone!

APC Life & Home Groups

Join one of our Home Groups that meet on a bi-weekly basis for food, faith and fellowship within a home host setting. We have a variety of groups that fit who you are and where you are in life–right now!

International Women’s Christian Fellowship (IWCF)

We are an English-speaking, non-denominational group of Christian women from many countries around the world.  We meet weekly throughout the school year for Bible or book study, for prayer and for fellowship.

Our group is open to any woman who is seeking friendship and spiritual growth, regardless of religious background.  We invite anyone who wants to learn more about the Christian faith and to develop Christian friendships to join us.

Young Families

We are a diverse group of individuals, connected by our love for God and for our families. We meet online bi-weekly and study the word of God together. We challenge each other as we raise godly families and learn from our experiences as we encourage each other in our walk with God. If you’re interested in joining, we would be happy to have a conversation to get to know you and explore this.

Women's Group

Our group is attended by women who have professions, as well as by women who do not have professions. We study the Bible together to learn more about God’s love and salvation, to strengthen our faith in God, to discuss challenges that women often face, for example at work or in the family, and to give support to one another. Since most of us work, our Bible study takes place online twice a month at 7 pm on Monday evenings. We also plan in opportunities to meet in person. We come from various countries and are from different age groups. In our meetings we speak both English and German. Currently we are studying passages in both the Old and New Testaments about women in the Bible.

"Moments That Matter"

Thank you for considering joining our small group ministry. Although the best way to find out if we could be a good fit for you is to pay us a visit, the following may be useful… Our gathering mostly consists of mature adults with some whose children by now have left home to others being grandparents. We present somewhat of the makeup of our church which is international and multi-denominational. Because of this makeup our moments/minutes shared with each other in the group, and daily life, are special and worth it. We share our time together in studying the Bible, conversing on topics of interest an afterwards sharing life with some refreshments… You are welcome to join us If you have some moments to spare…

Ittenbach Home Group

The name Ittenbach Home Group reflects the long history of this group. Started as a gathering of young parents in Ittenbach in the midst of the beautiful Siebengebirge, we now have grown to be a group of “older” people, but still young at heart! We meet every fortnight on Friday-evenings and discuss the topics of the Sunday sermon or study one of the books of the Bible. Mostly we speak German and pray in English or German, but we do welcome all who are looking for a place where they can feel at home, regardless of their cultural or geographical background. Our mission is to be a supporting group for those who are going through different phases of life, by praying together, giving practical help or even accompanying individuals to doctor’s visits. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about our group!

Young Adults (18-35)

Our mission as Young Adults (ages 18–35) is to come together as a community to grow in our faith, deepen our relationships with one another, and strengthen our walk with Christ. Through intentional fellowship, heartfelt prayer, and diligent study of God’s Word, we aim to support and encourage one another in our spiritual journeys. As we grow together, our ultimate goal is to be a light in the world around us, serving as an extension of God’s kingdom in our homes, workplaces, communities, and beyond. We are committed to living out our faith in practical ways, showing God’s love, grace, and truth to everyone we encounter.
